
準備來加拿大打工度假,並且想要找餐廳服務生類型的工作,一定要擁有 Serving It Right 證照!官方提供線上課程學習,準備時間大約4小時,由於自己研究考試花費了不少時間,還考了第二次才過關 XD ,時間都花下去了,乾脆直接幫大家整理 Serving It Right 考題+攻略,希望大家順利過關!
1. 什麼是 Serving It Right 證照?
Serving It Right 是加拿大的一項強制性證照,為了保障顧客安全,所有提供酒精飲品的工作都需要你了解酒精銷售規範及如何應對醉酒顧客,所以專門針對那些從事酒精飲料服務的人員,不管你是當酒吧服務生、餐廳Server或其他類型的服務員,這張證照都是必須要擁有的,面試的時候HR會要求提出擁有證照的證明。
2. Serving It Right 考什麼?

Serving It Right 主要是透過線上考試,一共有35道題目,單次考試是35加幣,有三次的機會可以重考,所以就算沒考過也不用太擔心,平均正確率達80%就可以通過考試,考試的主題有四大類別,有線上課程和PDF檔可以參照學習!
- Alcohol and Your Legal Responsibilities:
- 了解酒精服務的法律規範,包括合法飲酒年齡、避免酒後駕駛及販賣酒精給未成年人的法律後果。
- Intoxication and Impairment:
- 識別顧客的醉酒或受損狀況,並採取適當措施防止其繼續飲酒,確保顧客和他人安全
- Responsible Beverage Service:
- 提供負責任的酒精服務,確保顧客不過量飲酒,並能推薦適當的飲品或非酒精選擇
- Scenarios:
- 通過實際情境模擬,讓服務員練習如何應對醉酒顧客、未成年顧客及其他突發情況,提升應變能力。
3. Serving It Right 如何準備?

好孩子不要學,我自己懶惰沒有把所有線上課程看完XD 而是先把PDF檔案大致瀏覽過一遍後,直接到 Serving It Right 網站上做提供模擬考題,感受一下正式測試的題型,寫完立刻就可以對答案,不懂的再回去比對PDF檔案,如果單純是為了考到證照,等一下會分享偷吃步,有時間的話建議還是要認認真真的把影片看完,對於實務經驗也會很有幫助!

4.Serving It Right 考試技巧:

第一次考試我承認,是直接把答案丟到Chat GPT下指令請AI幫我做答,但是不知道為什麼居然沒考過 😂 錯誤率比想像中的高,這就是太倚賴AI的下場,後來第二次考試則是輸入關鍵字,到官方給的PDF比對找答案,就順利通過了~
線上考試的好處就是可以open book,時間綽綽有餘,所以不用擔心,一步一步來肯定會通過
另外一個小技巧是,第一次回答錯誤的題目第二次有很高機率會再出現,可以對完答案之後再瀏覽一下錯誤題型,這樣考試通過的成功率就會高很多
